Printable starter Army

If you don’t have figurines available then here are two sets of markers which can be printed out and used to represent the various units in a C3 Napoleonic wargame.
 Each infantry and cavalry block represents a brigade sized Unit of 16 Combat Elements. Each block can be broken down to individual Combat Elements, but it is recommended that no more then four groups are made, i.e. Combat Elements 1-4, 5-8, 9-12 and 13- 16. The blocks are numbered from right to left as was the convention for most forces by the end of this period. Each Combat Element of infantry have six “figures” in three ranks to get a look and feel of a Unit, the cavalry have five “figures” in two ranks, The gap being to allow for the Combat Element number.
 Each Artillery stand represents a battery of six guns on a firing base with a gun when unlimbered. Although it is only the gun being depicted, the size of the base includes all the limbers, caissons and wagons. There an exchangeable base with a limber for when moving, plus a short “road” extension when moving on road to represent the full distance of a single column of all guns, limbers, caissons and wagons. Each block should be cut out separately.

Each force is laid out in its order of battle, with
 Corps commander, plus three Aides and three Scouts
 Three infantry divisions, each with a Commanders, each with three brigades of infantry, three batteries of medium Smoothbores.
 One Corps Light Cavalry Brigade
 One Corps Artillery commander with one battery of heavy smoothbores and one horse artillery battery (i.e. no 1)
 For support there is a heavy Cavalry Division with two horse artillery batteries (i.e. No 2 & 3)
